The contrast in colours and textures between the dead, dry leaves and the fresh green one are nice. Did you set this up or did you find it this way? The green leaf reminds me of when I was young for some reason. I remember big, tough, green leaves with yellow bits but I'm not sure where from. Somewhere close to home I'd have thought. They are not uncommon.

This one I found exactly like this, so I didn't mess with nature! hehe...

I love the fact that you are going through a memory lane tonight with my photos. I wonder what it all means, even though you can't exactly remember where you've seen it before. I'm sure it'll come to you eventually, but I bet it won't be as special remembering exactly where you've seen them before. It is a nice mystery of life!!!

My Granddad used to live in a house next to a cemetery where there were lots of trees. I used to go exploring around there when I was little so perhaps that's what is coming to mind. The leaves had a leather-like texture and were quite tough. I think I even remember what they tasted like too! Haha. Not very nice.
